1980
BAhons in fine art at Manchester Polytechnic Following 3 years living in Hong Kong painting the busy streets, markets and people. Group exhibition in Queens Road Gallery with 3 other women artists. 2 solo shows in the Wanchai Arts Centre.

1985/2007
Part time lecturer in art for Manchester Adult Education Services, private Tutor, demonstrator and Hon. Secretary/Chair of the Stockport Art Guild

1992
North West winner of the Laing landscape painting competition.

2000
Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
